Ebola deaths rise in Democratic Republic of Congo

Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo announced today that the number of confirmed Ebola cases has risen to 2,473, including 999 deaths, in the country.

The Congo Public Health Institute confirmed in its latest report that "dozens of new cases have been detected in the Ituri and North Kivu provinces in the east of the country."
