Jeddah Municipality revealed that it issued and renewed 17,506 health certificates during June, and examined 7,273 food samples through the Laboratory Department, as part of its supervisory efforts on health establishments.

The municipality explained that the supervisory tours included health establishments within the scope of 11 sub-municipalities, and aim to raise the compliance rate of commercial and health establishments, which will reflect on the quality of services provided and contribute to the safety and security of food provided to residents and visitors.

Jeddah Municipality affirmed its continued supervisory efforts through field tours to monitor the application of health requirements in food establishments and raise the level of compliance, noting that establishments can access municipal services easily and conveniently through the 'Baladi' platform, which allows for issuing and printing health certificates without the need to visit the municipality, by linking medical test results with the health platform electronically.
