King Abdulaziz Medical City, affiliated with the Health Affairs of the Ministry of National Guard in Riyadh, explained that the malfunction that occurred in the air conditioning and cooling systems in part of the medical city resulted from an external break in one of the main water supply lines to the central cooling station.

The medical city confirmed in a statement that the malfunction was an emergency and beyond control, noting that technical and operational teams immediately commenced repair and treatment works to restore the systems to their normal operational status as soon as possible.
