Jeddah Municipality continues to enhance the quality of life in the city by developing parks and public facilities, through the creation of modern walking tracks that adhere to the highest engineering standards and provide safe urban environments that encourage exercise and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in building more vibrant and sustainable cities.

Providing lighting, benches, waste bins, and shading elements

The municipality's official spokesman, Mohammed Al-Buqami, explained that the track designs are based on standards that ensure a comfortable user experience for all segments of society, including the selection of plants suitable for the local environment and their distribution to provide shade and enhance the quality of the experience within the parks.

He stated that the tracks take into account smooth movement and the application of universal access requirements to enable wheelchair users and the elderly, in addition to providing lighting, benches, waste bins, shading elements, and safe bicycle paths, with periodic maintenance to ensure user safety.

These efforts reflect Jeddah Municipality's approach to developing more efficient and sustainable public facilities that promote public health and encourage physical activity, turning parks and walking tracks into vibrant daily destinations that meet the needs of residents and visitors.
