The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties confirmed that the professional registration service represents one of the main pillars to enhance safe health practice, by verifying the qualifications and experience of health practitioners and assessing their eligibility to practice the profession according to approved standards and requirements. The Commission explained that the service is implemented electronically via the Mumaris Plus platform, where the practitioner submits the registration application, completes the required data, and attaches documents according to their professional category, before reviewing the application and verifying that it meets requirements. Once approved, the professional registration card is issued. The Health Specialties added that registration procedures include reviewing qualifications and professional experience to ensure the practitioner's ability to provide healthcare efficiently and safely, contributing to patient protection, improving the quality of health services, and enhancing confidence in the competencies working in the health sector. The Commission also called on health practitioners to benefit from its digital services via the Mumaris Plus platform to complete professional registration procedures, stressing that the development of electronic services comes within its efforts to simplify procedures and improve the efficiency of services provided to health practitioners.
