Cultural / Secretary-General of Muslim World League Launches Book 'Atlas of the Ten Reciters and Their Transmitters'

Makkah Al-Mukarramah, 17 Muharram 1448 AH corresponding to 02 July 2026, SPA - The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, launched at the League's headquarters in Makkah Al-Mukarramah the book 'Atlas of the Ten Reciters and Their Transmitters' by Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Maghlouth, as part of the League's efforts to serve Quranic recitations in both recording and performance, in the presence of a number of scholars specialized in the sciences of the Holy Quran and recitation. He pointed out that when the League presents this encyclopedia to the Islamic world, it is fulfilling its duty in serving the Book of God - Almighty - adding that it had previously established for this purpose an agency specialized in this regard, named the 'Agency for Serving the Book and Sunnah'. The ceremony included a visual presentation of the League's efforts in serving Quranic recitations, concluded with an introduction to the book 'Atlas of the Ten Reciters and Their Transmitters'. His Eminence, in his capacity as Chairman of the Council of Recitation Elders, also approved granting the Quranic license with an unbroken chain of transmission to the Prophet - peace be upon him - to the memorizer authorized in the League's 'Global Technical Recitation Institution', a license that qualifies him to carry the trust of teaching the Quran as it was received by the recitation scholars in both precision and performance. // End // 17:42 T M 0150
