Around this time last year, the Crescent of the Nation and the continent's champion were in America, presenting the most epic feats that amazed the world, representing the homeland, the Arabs, and Asia in the grandest, largest, and newest edition of the Club World Cup.

It was generous in honoring the homeland, the Arabs, and the continent.. and it was very generous in presenting and highlighting the true face of Saudi football, in addition to providing a bright introductory picture of our great project, and to what extent and level it has reached on the ground, in full view and hearing of the world without embellishments, without propaganda, and without hype.

It was more keen to erase the (ugly) image portrayed by the representative of the homeland and Saudi football during its participation as the host of the edition that preceded the American edition of the Club World Cup by several months, and it succeeded and excelled in that, and saved face as usual.

It did all that without any material or moral support, because floods of support of all kinds pour into other places.. under the pretext that if it were supported, it would return from its global mission strong and thus pose a threat to some teams that receive special care and attention.

And because the global successes it achieved on American soil, preceded by its runners-up finish in the world from Moroccan soil, are enough to enrage and anger a certain segment known for its hatred and hostility towards any success or achievement accomplished by Saudi football at any level or platform.

Therefore, they prepared their gear, and mobilized their followers and minions inside and outside.. and gave the green light to (the hypocrites, the loudmouths, and the worthless) in dirty missions aimed at muddying the atmosphere and creating offensive media storms against our entire sports system, in order to divert attention from the global national achievement accomplished by the Crescent of the Nation, and to spoil any expected celebratory aspects of it.. by devoting entirely to debates and bickering.
