Al Jazeera - SPA:

The Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested three residents violating the environmental regulations, of Somali, Sudanese, and Yemeni nationalities, for exploiting sediments in the Makkah region. Legal procedures were applied against them.

The forces stated that two vehicles used for soil scraping and transport were seized. They urged reporting any cases of environmental or wildlife violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 and 996 in other regions of the Kingdom, emphasizing that all reports will be handled with full confidentiality and the reporter will bear no responsibility.
