5 International Awards for Saudi Team at the International Physics Olympiad 2026
The Saudi physics team achieved 5 international awards at the International Physics Olympiad IPhO 2026, which was held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from July 4 to 12, 2026, with the participation of 381 male and female students representing 87 countries. Student Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Urfaj from the General Administration of Education in the Eastern Region won a silver medal, while Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Raml from the General Administration of Education in the Eastern Region, Reda Salem Al-Khames from the General Administration of Education in Al-Ahsa Governorate, and Hussein Habib Al-Saleh from the General Administration of Education in Riyadh Region each won 3 bronze medals, while student Nasser Hisham Al-Shai' from the General Administration of Education in Riyadh Region received a certificate of appreciation.
