General / King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation Implements "Future Compass" Program to Prepare High School Students for University and Career Paths
Riyadh, 27 Muharram 1448 AH corresponding to 12 July 2026 AD SPA Today, the summer program "Future Compass" was launched, one of the initiatives of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Foundation for Humanitarian Works, aimed at preparing high school students for the university and professional stage, during the summer vacation of 2026, through a qualitative training experience that contributes to enhancing their readiness, developing their skills, and enabling them to make more informed educational and professional decisions. The "Future Compass" program includes five interactive training tracks, designed to meet the needs of students at this important stage, and is presented by an elite group of specialists, academics, and practitioners from several sectors. The "Preparing for University Life" track focuses on developing self-learning, discipline, and effective planning skills, to enhance students' readiness to transition to university with confidence and awareness. The "Discovering Majors and Professional Future" track allows participants to identify their abilities and inclinations, and explore suitable university majors and professional paths. The "Leadership and Humanitarian Values" track is concerned with building a balanced and conscious personality, by developing leadership skills and enhancing values of responsibility, initiative, and teamwork. The "Volunteer Work and Community Impact" track addresses concepts of community responsibility and mechanisms for designing impactful volunteer initiatives.
