Professor of Political Media, Dr. Mutlaq Al-Mutairi, said that 'Gulf states have distanced themselves from the Iranian war and adopted a policy of restraint even as they faced Iranian attacks.'

He added during an interview with Al-Ikhbariya channel that 'there are parties within the Gulf Cooperation Council that want to resume military action with the same Israeli vision of completely eliminating the nuclear program.'

Story continues: Saudi Arabia condemns continued Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan, and emphasizes the importance of immediately ceasing all forms of military escalation.

Al-Mutairi pointed out that 'Saudi Arabia has provided a clear political dimension, seeing that the region cannot bear military action, and that the dispute should take a political and diplomatic path leading to lasting agreements.'
