His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Governor of Al-Ahsa, reviewed at the governorate headquarters today, Tuesday, the latest developments of the Roshn Group initiative to renovate (100) homes in its third edition, and witnessed the benefit and handover of one of the beneficiary families, in the presence of leaders from the Tarmeem Association and representatives of Roshn Group.

His Highness also reviewed a summary of the initiative's objectives and its developmental impact in improving the quality of life for beneficiary families, and received a report on the most prominent achievements of the Tarmeem Association and the qualitative partnerships it has fostered between the private and non-profit sectors in supporting sustainable housing development.

His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa affirmed that the developmental housing sector receives support and attention from the wise leadership - may God protect them - reflecting their keenness to provide a decent life for beneficiary families and enhance quality of life in various regions of the Kingdom, praising the qualitative partnership between Roshn Group - one of the Public Investment Fund companies - and the Tarmeem Association. He emphasized that these initiatives represent a national model of integration between the private and non-profit sectors, contributing to providing safe and adequate housing for the most needy families and supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Developmental Housing Sector

Engineer Hamad Al-Khalidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tarmeem Association, affirmed that the initiative embodies the support and attention the developmental housing sector receives from His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa, and that this support has contributed to empowering community initiatives and accelerating the implementation of development projects in the governorate, reflecting on the stability of beneficiary families and improving their quality of life. He explained that housing unit number (99) is part of the Roshn Group initiative to renovate (100) homes in (13) administrative regions across the Kingdom, in partnership with more than (10) specialized associations, where the total area of homes covered by renovation work exceeded (65,000) square meters, with the participation of more than (303) male and female volunteers who provided over (128,168) volunteer hours, with an economic return exceeding (7.3) million riyals. Al-Khalidi expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa for his support and patronage of development initiatives, appreciating the support of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the Developmental Housing Agency, the General Administration for Non-Profit Sector Development, Roshn Group, and all partner and supporting entities, affirming that the integration of roles between government agencies, the private sector, and the non-profit sector represents a pioneering national model in achieving sustainable housing development and maximizing social impact.
