It is noteworthy that His Excellency Mr. Talal Al-Hamoud holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada. He previously held the position of Assistant Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) for Monetary Affairs since February 2024, after being appointed as Deputy Governor for Investment from 2022 to 2024, having previously served as Director of the Reserves Department at the Central Bank from 2017 to 2022, Director of the External Fixed Income Division from 2013 to 2017, Acting Director of the Fixed Income and Alternatives Division from 2011 to 2013, and joined the Central Bank as an Investment Analyst in 2009.
