Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khatib inspected the 'The Point' project in the Asir region, one of the largest multi-use projects enabled by the Tourism Development Fund. He reviewed the progress of work on the project, which has an investment value of 1.125 billion riyals and is built on an area of 75,000 square meters.

The project includes 250 hotel keys operated by the brands "Canopy by Hilton" and "Hilton Residences".

Al-Khatib affirmed that Asir possesses natural and cultural assets that make it one of the most promising destinations in the Kingdom, noting that qualitative projects like 'The Point' support the goals of Vision 2030 and enhance the visitor experience.

He explained that the project represents a model for tourism projects that develop destinations and stimulate qualitative investments. Meanwhile, CEO of the Tourism Development Fund Qusai Al-Fakhri affirmed that the project embodies the Fund's role in enabling investments, enhancing private sector participation, and supporting sustainable economic growth in Asir.

The project includes 250 hotel keys operated by the brands "Canopy by Hilton" and "Hilton Residences", making it the first project to carry a Hilton brand in Asir, thereby enhancing the region's status as a promising tourism and investment destination.

The projects enabled by the Fund in Asir reflect the rapid developmental momentum in the region, supported by integrated efforts between the tourism ecosystem and the private sector, contributing to the development of distinctive destinations that enhance the region's year-round appeal.
