The Hail Region Municipality has completed more than one million square meters of asphalting work during the first half of 2026, as part of the maintenance and operation system aimed at raising the efficiency of infrastructure and improving the quality of municipal services.

The municipality clarified that the area of asphalting work implemented amounted to 1,014,060 square meters on a number of roads and streets, contributing to improving the efficiency of the road network, raising the level of safety, and enhancing the smooth flow of traffic.

Additional projects to improve the environment and public facilities

In the same context, the works included developing and maintaining sidewalks with an area of 155,061 square meters to improve the pedestrian environment and raise the quality of public facilities.

Hail Municipality added that it carried out maintenance of 4,656 lighting poles to raise lighting efficiency and improve the level of safety on roads and neighborhoods, in addition to creating 868 parking spaces in a number of vital locations to support traffic regulation and meet the needs of residents and visitors.
