The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque launched the summer intellectual foundational course for the year 1448 AH, in the sanctuary of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, as part of its scientific and enrichment programs aimed at spreading sound Islamic knowledge, consolidating the correct approach, enhancing intellectual security, and highlighting the values of moderation and centrism.

The Presidency explained that the course includes five specialized scientific lessons addressing topics related to intellectual security, the impact of Islamic knowledge in correcting concepts and soundness of belief, in addition to immunizing society from intellectual deviations and clarifying the role of moderation and centrism in achieving intellectual and societal security and stability, based on the guidance of the Quran and Sunnah according to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah.

The Presidency added that the lessons are held after Maghrib prayer in the sanctuary of the Grand Mosque, allowing Umrah performers, worshippers, and students of knowledge to benefit from their scientific content, within the framework of the Grand Mosque's scientific and da'wah mission and its role in spreading Islamic knowledge, deepening correct understanding of religion, and connecting Muslims to the principles and objectives of Sharia.

In the same context, this course comes within the Presidency's ongoing efforts to enhance religious and intellectual awareness, consolidate correct concepts, contribute to building a balanced Islamic personality, and immunize society from doubts and deviant ideas through scientific programs based on sound Islamic foundations and addressing contemporary intellectual issues.

It is noteworthy that the course represents one of the main tracks to enrich the experience of visitors to the Grand Mosque, enhance its scientific mission, consolidate its status as a beacon of knowledge and guidance, and spread tolerant Islamic values to achieve the goals of the wise leadership in serving the Two Holy Mosques and conveying their moderate message to Muslims around the world.
