Media figure Saud bin Turki Al-Muqati Al-Otaibi, a prominent personality on the 'Reality' channel, has died in a tragic traffic accident in the Al-Qiddiya area after leaving the channel's studio, sparking an outpouring of grief among media professionals and his audience.

Media professionals and academics mourned him on social media platforms, praising his high professionalism, noble ethics, and good relationships with colleagues, in addition to his media contributions that spanned years, most notably his participation in the judging committee of the program 'Zid Raseedak' and hosting numerous talk and social programs.

The late Al-Otaibi distinguished himself during his media career by contributing purposeful content that touched community interests, hosting an elite of officials, specialists, and public figures, which earned him a wide presence and affection from viewers.

Funeral prayers will be held after Asr prayer today (Monday) at Al-Rajhi Mosque in Riyadh, and his body will be laid to rest in Al-Naseem Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his brothers: Mu'id, Muhammad, and A'id.
