The Al-Baha Region Municipality continues its efforts to develop infrastructure by highlighting the Container Promenade, one of the humanization projects implemented within the Al-Baha Summer Season 2026, to be a vibrant destination that keeps pace with quality of life goals and provides an integrated environment for walking and physical activities.

The municipality stated that the promenade includes a 900-meter pedestrian walkway and a 500-meter bicycle path, along with 35 seating areas and chairs, and two motor play areas, providing a suitable environment for various age groups to practice sports and recreational activities.

It added that the promenade includes decorative lighting and aesthetic illuminations, 100 barriers, and 150 trees and shrubs of jacaranda and acacia, enhancing the site's beauty and elevating the experience of its users and visitors during the summer season.

Community events and sports programs

In the same context, the Al-Baha Municipality, within the activities of the Al-Baha Summer Season 2026, is implementing a package of community initiatives, sports programs, and awareness activities targeting various segments of society, contributing to spreading the culture of sports practice and enhancing public health by holding sports events, competitions, and interactive activities at the Container Promenade.

Enhancing health awareness and community partnership

For its part, the municipality, in partnership with the Al-Baha Health Cluster and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, is implementing initiatives to measure vital signs for promenade users, in addition to providing health and awareness guidance, contributing to raising awareness of the importance of prevention and health maintenance and enhancing integration among government agencies in serving the community.

It is worth mentioning that the Container Promenade project is part of the Al-Baha Region Municipality's efforts to develop humanization projects, provide attractive urban facilities, improve quality of life, support domestic tourism, and enrich the experience of residents and visitors during the Al-Baha Summer Season.
