The AMALA destination has taken a new step toward cementing its position as one of the world’s leading luxury wellness tourism destinations, with Red Sea Global announcing the opening of the Six Senses AMALA resort, overlooking Triple Bay Beach, which will welcome its first guests starting from mid-July.

The resort's opening is part of the development stages of the destination located on the Red Sea coast, which bets on combining luxury hospitality with health and wellness experiences, in a natural environment blending pristine bays, coastal cliffs, and mountain desert, boosting the Kingdom's direction toward developing specialized tourism as part of Saudi Vision 2030 goals.

The resort's wellness facilities include an integrated spa, a health and bioscience center, and modern treatment technologies (SPA).

Red Sea Global CEO John Pagano said that choosing the Six Senses brand reflects alignment with the company's vision to develop luxury tourism based on sustainability principles and environmental renewal, affirming that the partnership is an extension of successful cooperation between the two sides after the opening of the Six Senses Southern Dunes resort in the Red Sea destination in 2023, and contributes to providing world-class hospitality experiences centered on quality and attention to detail.

The resort comprises 100 suites and villas, in addition to 25 branded residential units under the Six Senses name, all designed in harmony with the surrounding coastal nature. The resort's architectural design draws inspiration from the Kingdom's traditional coastal character, forming an extension of the natural landscape that combines beaches, mangroves, and desert mountains.

The resort places wellness at the heart of the hospitality experience, through an integrated spa featuring a health and bioscience center, facilities using biohacking techniques, a Watsu pool, a sound dome, and thermal facilities, along with therapeutic programs combining modern techniques and holistic treatments.

On the culinary side, the resort offers three restaurants, an artisanal bakery, a coffee roastery, and a cooking school, providing experiences inspired by local products and the Six Senses philosophy that integrates healthy food with a balanced lifestyle.

The resort also hosts a mangrove lake integrated with environmental initiatives, including the 'Earth Lab' and the 'Little World of Mangroves' program, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about local ecosystems through interactive experiences, in addition to providing direct access to AMALA facilities, including 'Coralium - Marine Life Center', the Yacht Club, marine and desert activities, as well as shopping and dining facilities.

The mangrove lake and interactive environmental programs form part of the hospitality experience at Six Senses AMALA (SPA).

Six Senses AMALA is the second world-class resort to start welcoming guests in the destination, while Red Sea Global prepares to open six additional resorts this year, as part of a plan to transform AMALA into one of the world's largest destinations specialized in wellness tourism.

When the development of Triple Bay area is complete, the destination will include more than 1,600 hotel rooms distributed across nine resorts, along with branded residential units, wellness centers, yacht marinas, and a variety of restaurants and shops, in a project that enhances the Kingdom's position as a global destination for luxury tourism and sustainable development.
