The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom's Embassy in Senegal, yesterday organized the seventh scientific course to qualify imams and preachers in the Senegalese capital Dakar, with the participation of (120) imams, preachers, and da'wah callers from Dakar and several regions, at the headquarters of the Center for Dawah to the Quran and Sunnah, and it will continue for five days.

The opening ceremony of the course was attended by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom's Embassy in Senegal, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Fuhaid, along with heads of Islamic associations and centers, and a number of scholars, Sharia sciences teachers, imams, and preachers.

The course covers topics aimed at enhancing understanding of Sharia rulings, applying them to contemporary realities, and consolidating the approach of moderation and centrism in fatwa. This course is part of the scientific programs implemented by the Ministry outside the Kingdom, within the framework of its ongoing efforts to spread established Sharia knowledge, qualify imams and preachers, and promote the values of moderation and centrism in various countries of the world.
