Abu Dhabi, October 25 / WAM / The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments called for performing the eclipse prayer after the Asr prayer today, Tuesday, 29 Rabi' al-Awwal 1444 AH, corresponding to October 25, 2022, in all mosques of the state.

The UAE Fatwa Council issued a fatwa stating that the eclipse prayer is a confirmed Sunnah for every person who is legally required to pray, including men and women, travelers and residents, adults and discerning children. As for its timing, it begins from the moment the eclipse appears after the permissible time for voluntary prayers, and ends with the eclipse's clearing. They pray to God Almighty to perpetuate goodness and stability for the wise leadership and all who live on the soil of the UAE.
