The platform allows the issuance of eight types of licenses for individuals, institutions, and companies in urban, agricultural, and industrial sectors. These include water auditing, leak detection and repair, measurement and verification of water savings, and design and implementation of water efficiency and conservation solutions.
The center called on those wishing to engage in water efficiency and conservation activities to apply through the electronic platform to obtain the necessary licenses.
Leak Detection Services
It also called on beneficiaries of leak detection services to verify that the service provider is from licensed and accredited entities to ensure receiving a reliable service according to regulatory requirements. It emphasized that the activities covered by the licensing and services regulations are practiced through the platform, and their providers are subject to monitoring, follow-up, and evaluation procedures, including verifying the validity of studies, reports, and data, and conducting field visits to ensure compliance with approved controls and service quality. On January 31, the center announced the enforcement of the licensing regulations for water efficiency and conservation service providers, which regulate the issuance of licenses, service providers' obligations, and monitoring and compliance procedures, contributing to enhancing water use efficiency and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
