Cairo, Safar 07, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 21, 2026, SPA – The Arab Republic of Egypt expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the threats targeting the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the irresponsible escalation they entail that would undermine the security and stability of the region, threaten the safety of maritime navigation, international trade, and vital waterways, in flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, and relevant Security Council resolutions. Egypt affirmed, in a statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all Gulf Cooperation Council states, and its support for all measures taken by them to maintain their security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
