During the program's inauguration, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Kharif, Vice President of King Abdulaziz Foundation, explained that this initiative is part of the foundation's efforts to develop national capabilities and strengthen university students' connection to national history, in addition to enabling them to employ historical knowledge in initiatives and projects with community impact.

Program Tracks and Objectives

Al-Kharif noted that the program runs from July 19 to 23, 2026, offering a training experience that combines historical knowledge with practical application through three main tracks: innovation in employing history, leadership of community initiatives, and digital technologies in historical content. It aims to develop participants' ability to draw inspiration from national history to develop ideas and initiatives that meet community needs.

He added that the program attracts students from various academic disciplines from several Saudi universities, as part of enhancing integration between scientific and humanities disciplines and highlighting the importance of employing diverse expertise in producing distinctive initiatives inspired by the national heritage.

Training Workshops and Opportunities for Participants

In the same context, the program in the coming days includes training workshops, specialized sessions, meetings with experts, and field visits. It also grants participants a certificate of attendance accredited by King Abdulaziz Foundation and volunteer hours registered in the National Platform for Volunteer Work, in addition to opportunities to build a network of scientific and professional relationships with specialists, and priority for nomination to future programs run by the foundation.

It is worth mentioning that the program represents a sustainable annual track aimed at preparing a generation connected to their country's history and investing it in shaping the future.
