Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, emphasized the importance of visitors to the Prophet's Mosque and the Noble Rawdah adhering to visiting etiquette according to the guidance of Islamic law and the Prophet's Sunnah, and cautioning against innovations and heresies, glorifying the rites of Allah, and contemplating the meanings of following the Prophet ﷺ and his guidance. This came during his visit today to the Noble Rawdah, where he was honored to greet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his two companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and performed prayer there.

Glorifying the Rites

His Excellency explained that visiting the Prophet's Mosque represents a great act of worship that should be performed in accordance with legal controls, reflecting the glorification of Allah's rites, achieving the purposes of the visit in tranquility and serenity, and following the Prophet's Sunnah, away from anything that contradicts prophetic guidance. He pointed out that the care and attention given by the wise leadership – may Allah support it – to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors embodies the great status enjoyed by the Two Holy Sanctuaries, and confirms the Kingdom's keenness to serve Islam and Muslims, and to harness all capabilities to provide the best services for worshippers and visitors, enabling them to perform their worship with ease and tranquility. At the conclusion of his visit, the Head of Religious Affairs raised thanks to Allah Almighty for the security and stability the Kingdom enjoys, asking the Almighty to protect this country and its leadership, to perpetuate the blessing of security and faith, and to accept from everyone righteous deeds.
