King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Delegation Meets Representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Philippines
The delegation of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center met today in the capital Manila with representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to secure humanitarian and relief aid, and the priorities of humanitarian needs for those affected by the earthquake that recently struck areas in the Philippines, causing heavy losses in lives, property, and infrastructure. The Philippine government representatives expressed their sincere thanks for the great humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to help those affected by the earthquake, noting the overall humanitarian aid provided by the Center to their country.
For its part, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center delegation expressed its appreciation for the facilities provided by the Philippine authorities to the Center's team, which enabled it to carry out its humanitarian tasks to the fullest.
