The General Directorate of Border Guards concluded today the activities of the awareness exhibition on maritime safety, correct practices, and reducing drowning risks, held at the Dana Mall complex in Yanbu Governorate, Madinah Region.

The exhibition organizers explained that the activities showcased the Border Guards' instructions and regulations for beachgoers, in addition to highlighting penalties for swimming in unauthorized areas and safety guidelines to be followed when visiting the sea.

The organizers noted that the exhibition included introducing visitors to the Border Guards' efforts in search and rescue, and ensuring the safety of marine vessels before sailing.

In the same context, the General Directorate of Border Guards called on beach and sea visitors to adhere to instructions and guidelines, and to contact 911 in Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, or 994 in the rest of the Kingdom, for assistance in emergencies.
