The Governor of Asir Region, Prince Turki bin Talal, visited the injured from an amusement ride accident in several hospitals in the region to check on their health and the level of medical care provided, wishing them a speedy recovery.

The Asir Governor affirmed that the competent authorities are continuing their work to reach the truth and uncover the circumstances of the accident, stressing that there will be no leniency with any proven negligence or failure.

He pointed out that the safety of people in the Kingdom represents a red line, emphasizing that preserving lives is a responsibility that cannot be neglected, and that all necessary measures will be taken according to the results of the investigations.

The Emirate of Asir Region had announced that the competent authorities handled the accident of a fall of an amusement ride at a festival in Abha immediately after receiving the report, confirming field response and providing necessary medical care to the injured.

The Emirate explained, in a press statement, that the competent authorities are continuing to investigate the causes and circumstances of the accident, while completing all relevant legal procedures, to ensure covering all technical and regulatory aspects related to the incident.
