The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, through the 'Nama' platform, has launched an electronic service that enables well drilling practitioners (contractors) to request a movement permit for well drilling equipment, as part of developing water source license services and their uses, and facilitating procedures related to organizing drilling operations. The ministry explained that the service allows issuing a movement permit for well drilling equipment when it is transferred to maintenance sites or returned to its stations, which contributes to facilitating equipment movement procedures, raising the efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries, and reducing time and effort in completing requests. The service targets workers in the business sector who practice well drilling, as part of the ministry's efforts to develop digital services, organize the exploitation of groundwater resources, and improve the efficiency of managing licenses and related procedures.
