Border Guard in Dhuba Governorate Arrests Citizen Violating Maritime Activities Regulations for Fishing Without License

The coastal patrols of the Border Guard in Dhuba Governorate, Tabuk Region, arrested a citizen who violated the Safety and Security Regulations for Practitioners of Maritime Activities in the Maritime Areas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; for fishing without a license and using prohibited tools. Legal procedures were taken against him in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The Border Guard urged everyone to comply with regulations and instructions related to the protection of living aquatic resources and to report any cases of aggression against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province regions, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom. All reports will be handled with complete confidentiality without any liability on the informant.
