Citizen Caught Violating Environmental Regulations by Grazing Camels in Prohibited Areas within King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve
Special Forces for Environmental Security arrested a citizen for grazing 28 camels in prohibited areas within King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve, imposing a fine of 500 riyals per camel.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security announced the arrest of a citizen for violating the environmental system, after monitoring him grazing 28 camels in areas where grazing is prohibited within the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve.
The forces explained that regulatory procedures were applied against the violator, confirming that the penalty for grazing camels in prohibited locations is 500 riyals per camel.
The Special Forces for Environmental Security called for reporting any cases of aggression against the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 or 996 in other regions of the Kingdom.
It emphasized that all reports are treated with complete confidentiality, and the reporter will not incur any liability.
