The Vacant Lands and Empty Properties Program clarified that not every vacant land is automatically subject to the vacant land fees; rather, there are specific conditions that must be met.

The program indicated that among these conditions is that the land is within the city, unbuilt, and suitable for construction or development, in addition to being located within the scope where the fees have been announced.

It added that the conditions of area and use are among the basic elements to determine whether the land is subject to the fee, stressing that lands that do not meet these conditions are not counted among the properties subject to the fees.

In the same context, the program called on landowners to ensure that their lands meet the conditions before registering them under the Vacant Land Fees Program.
