Jeddah, Safar 07, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 21, 2026, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, witnessed today at the governorate headquarters the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the General Administration of Education in Jeddah Governorate and the Volunteering and Community Partnership Program "Let's Initiate" in Jeddah Governorate, in the presence of the Director General of Education in Jeddah Governorate, Manal bint Mubarak Al-Laheebi. This comes within the framework of enhancing institutional partnerships, integrating efforts to serve the community, and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. The signing was represented on both sides by the Assistant Director General of Education in Jeddah, Engineer Wissam bin Azzam Habis, and the head of the "Let's Initiate" program, Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed Naghi. The memorandum aims to support and implement qualitative and sustainable initiatives and programs that contribute to improving quality of life, empowering individuals and society, and consolidating a culture of social responsibility and innovation, through cooperation in the fields of environmental and health awareness, supporting the educational process, developing students' skills, enhancing community participation, and spreading positive behaviors. This memorandum is an extension of the approach of institutional integration between government sectors and community initiatives, enhancing investment in national energies, expanding the scope of volunteer work, and supporting the implementation of qualitative initiatives whose positive impacts reflect on society and contribute to achieving sustainable development. It is noteworthy that the "Let's Initiate" program aims to highlight the pioneering role of Jeddah Governorate in the success of the outcomes of voluntary initiatives and programs in the governorate, along with consolidating the concept of constructive integration between government entities and civil society; thus contributing to maximizing community impact and promoting a culture of volunteer work and community partnership.
