Al-Ahsa Municipality completed maintenance and development works on two vital roads connecting towns of the agricultural oasis and the city of Al-Jafr, as part of its projects to improve the efficiency of the road network and enhance traffic safety according to the highest technical standards.

The completed projects included the development of the road linking the town of Al-Sabat and the city of Al-Jafr, along with the road connecting the towns of Al-Mazawi and Al-Markaz.

The official spokesperson for Al-Ahsa Municipality, Khalid Buwashel, explained that this step comes to ensure the sustainable operation of roads linking cities and towns with high efficiency, stressing the municipality's endeavor to provide a safe and stable traffic environment for users of agricultural roads. He pointed out that infrastructure development projects are an extension of programs to improve municipal services in the governorate, noting that improving road efficiency falls within the targets of the Quality of Life Program and Humanization of Cities to achieve the aspirations of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
