Eastern Region Prince Conveys Leadership's Condolences to Emir of Qatar on Death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif, Governor of the Eastern Province, conveyed the condolences of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness the Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, on the death of the late His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani - may God have mercy on him.
This visit comes within the framework of the deep and strong brotherly relations that bind the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Qatar.
This took place during the reception by His Highness the Emir of Qatar, his deputy His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the sons of the deceased, and members of the ruling family for the Saudi delegation at the Lusail Palace in Doha today, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Minister of State and member of the Council of Ministers, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region.

As well as His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Qatar, praying to God Almighty to envelop the deceased with His vast mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure, and to grant him a spacious place in His paradise.
The late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani ruled Qatar from 1995 until he abdicated in favor of his son Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad in 2013, and his rule witnessed a comprehensive renaissance in the country. This condolence embodies the depth of relations between the two countries, which are witnessing continuous development in various fields.
