Egypt has condemned in the strongest terms Iran's sinful targeting of the states of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, which constitutes a flagrant violation of their sovereignty, a serious threat to the security and stability of the Gulf region, and an unacceptable escalation that would increase tensions in the region.

In a statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Egypt affirmed its complete rejection of all actions that affect the security and sovereignty of sisterly states or threaten the security and stability of the region, reiterating its call for restraint and de-escalation to preserve regional security and safeguard peace and stability.
