In a statement by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt also stressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all Gulf Cooperation Council states, and its support for all measures they take to maintain their security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Egypt stresses the importance of prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions, and respecting the rules of international law, which contributes to de-escalation and maintaining the security and stability of the region.
