The Mohammed bin Salman Foundation 'Misk' launched the 'Wafd' program, a qualitative initiative aimed at empowering Saudi youth to have an active presence on the international stage. The 'Wafd' program is an extension of Misk Foundation's efforts in global representation over the past years, as a competitive qualitative initiative that aims to place Saudi youth at the forefront of international participation, enabling them to officially represent the Kingdom in major global platforms and forums, foremost among them the United Nations General Assembly, the World Bank Youth Summit, and other globally influential forums and conferences. The program also serves as a reliable channel for youth participation within official Saudi delegations led by ministries, agencies, and national bodies.

International events embody the program's journey since its launch under the umbrella of the 'Global Youth Series' with remarkable impact, as more than 200 young men and women have represented the Kingdom in global forums, through participation in more than 25 international events and forums. Participants in the program gain an intensive field experience that allows them to attend multiple international events, acquire qualitative expertise through high-level discussions, direct interaction with decision-makers and stakeholders, and gain firsthand knowledge of real policy environments, while benefiting from targeted training that enhances their readiness for this role.

Empowering skills: The program is based on three main objectives, through which Misk seeks to expand youth access to global opportunities, enhance and develop youth participation at the international level, in addition to building and developing a set of empowering skills among participants to ensure optimal representation of the homeland. 'Wafd' is one of the programs of the Global Participation track at Misk Foundation, as part of its ongoing efforts to empower Saudi youth and develop their leadership capabilities, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in enhancing youth presence and contribution to development locally and globally.
