Al-Baha Municipality carried out 19,430 inspection visits in the second quarter of 2026, resulting in 2,795 violations, 1,143 warnings, seizure of over 295 kg of unfit materials, and 204 violators.
Al-Baha, Muharram 29, 1448 AH (July 14, 2026) - The Al-Baha Municipality, represented by its health and market monitoring efforts, revealed the execution of 19,430 field inspection visits during the second quarter of this year as part of its ongoing work to enhance compliance with health and municipal requirements and ensure food safety and public health. The municipality explained that the inspection tours resulted in detecting 2,795 violations and issuing 1,143 warnings to violating facilities, in addition to receiving and processing 254 reports submitted through approved reporting channels. Statistics showed that the inspection teams carried out seizure and destruction of over 295 kilograms of materials unfit for use or violating health requirements, along with apprehending 204 violators among street vendors who breached regulations and instructions. The Al-Baha Municipality confirmed the continuation of its intensive inspection tours on commercial, food establishments and markets, contributing to raising compliance levels and improving the quality of services provided, in line with the goals of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in promoting public health and consumer safety. // End //14:34 PM
