"Environmental Security" apprehends violator of environment law for cutting trees without license in Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve

The Special Forces for Environmental Security apprehended a citizen violating the environment law for cutting trees without license in Prince Mohammed bin Salman Royal Reserve. An electric saw was found in his possession, legal procedures were applied against him, and the confiscated quantities were handed over to the competent authority.
The Forces explained that the penalty for cutting trees from vegetation cover lands, or uprooting them, transporting them, bulldozing them, or trading in them without a license is a fine of up to (20,000) riyals per tree, urging people to report any cases of assault on the environment or wildlife by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.
