The activities of the 'Farmers Market Festival in Tarif Governorate' launched on Thursday, organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's branch in the Northern Borders Region, represented by the ministry's office in Tarif Governorate, at the eastern public benefit market in Al-Yarmouk neighborhood, and will last for four days, with the participation of a number of government and private entities.

The festival aims to support farmers and productive families, enhance marketing of local agricultural products, and create direct sales outlets that contribute to raising the economic value of national products, in addition to introducing the quality of agricultural products for which the governorate is known.

The festival includes various pavilions for displaying dates, fresh vegetables and fruits, honey, and rural and food products, in addition to awareness and guidance programs that highlight sustainable agricultural practices and the importance of supporting local production, in order to enhance the goals of agricultural development and food security.

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's branch in the Northern Borders Region invited residents and visitors to visit the festival and benefit from its activities and exhibits, in support of local farmers and producers, and to promote a culture of consuming national products.
