His Highness listened to an explanation of the targets for developing the water sector in the region, and the Authority's efforts in regulating the sector and supervising the water system, to enhance supply security, raise service efficiency, support sustainable management of water resources, and protect the interests of beneficiaries, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. His Highness was also briefed on the Authority's key efforts in developing regulatory frameworks for non-grid water services, monitoring service providers' performance, oversight and inspection activities, as well as efforts to increase connectivity in water and sanitation services in the region and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, contributing to raising the efficiency and reliability of the water system.
