Doha, 28 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to 13 July 2026 AD, SPA – His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, conveyed the condolences of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may Allah preserve them – to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, on the death of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani – may Allah have mercy on him. This occurred during the reception hosted by the Amir of Qatar, his deputy His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the sons of the deceased, and members of the Al Thani family, at Lusail Palace in the capital Doha today, for the Governor of the Eastern Province and his accompanying delegation, which included His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; and His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior. The reception was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Qatar.
