General / Grand Mufti of the Kingdom Receives Head of Religious Affairs for the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque

Taif, 27 Muharram 1448 AH corresponding to July 12, 2026 AD, SPA - His Eminence the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, President of the General Presidency for Scholarly Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan al-Fawzan, received in his office in Taif Governorate His Excellency the Head of Religious Affairs for the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz al-Sudais, accompanied by a number of his excellency the vice presidents. His Eminence welcomed His Excellency the Head of Religious Affairs and the honorable vice presidents, praising the efforts exerted by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in serving the visitors of the Two Holy Mosques, and caring for scientific, advocacy and guidance programs, which contribute to spreading the correct methodology and enhancing the scholarly message of the Two Holy Mosques. His Excellency the Head of Religious Affairs for the Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Eminence the Grand Mufti, praising the scientific and religious role of the General Presidency for Scholarly Research and Ifta as a reference in explaining legal rulings and issuing fatwas based on legal evidence.
