Madinah, Safar 05, 1448 AH corresponding to July 19, 2026, SPA – His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region, affirmed that the security successes achieved during the Hajj season of 1447 AH were by the grace of God, and then due to the support and attention that the security sectors received from the wise leadership, and the capabilities provided that enabled them to carry out their tasks efficiently and competently, which contributed to serving the pilgrims and maintaining their security and safety. This came during his reception of the Director of Madinah Region Police, Head of the Permanent Security Committee in the Region, Major General Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Zahrani, accompanied by the leaders of the Public Security branches in the region. During the reception, His Highness was briefed on a statistical report that reviewed the most prominent efforts carried out by the security authorities in the Madinah region during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, and the results of implementing security, traffic and organizational plans, which contributed to maintaining the security and safety of the pilgrims and raising the efficiency of security services provided to them.
