Medina, Muharram 25, 1448 AH (July 10, 2026) – His Excellency President Adama Barrow of the Republic of The Gambia arrived in Medina today to visit the Prophet's Mosque, offer prayers, and pay his respects at the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his two companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Upon his arrival at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, he was received by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Medina Region; Major General Yousef Abdullah Al-Zahrani, Director of Police in the region; Ibrahim bin Abdullah Barri, Director of the Royal Protocol Office in Medina; several officials; and the Ambassador of The Gambia to the Kingdom, Mambury Jai.
