Makkah Al-Mukarramah, 2 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 16, 2026 SPA – His Excellency the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, met in the Pakistani capital Islamabad with the President of the Pakistani Senate, Mr. Yousaf Raza Gilani, during an official visit, in the presence of a number of council leaders and leaders of Pakistani political parties. During the meeting, a number of topics of mutual interest were discussed, and His Excellency delivered a speech before the Senate leadership addressing a number of intellectual and humanitarian issues, emphasizing the importance of enhancing dialogue and understanding among peoples and consolidating the values of moderation and coexistence. His Excellency also met with the Chief Justice of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, where the two sides discussed a number of intellectual and legal issues related to religious coexistence and promoting social cohesion, contributing to supporting stability and consolidating the principles of justice and understanding among the various components of societies.
