The Cabinet has mandated all government entities to procure their ambulance requirements from the National Unified Procurement Company for Medicines, Medical Devices and Medical Supplies (NUPCO).

This comes as part of organizing unified procurement processes and enhancing government spending efficiency.

The Council stressed that implementation of the decision should not result in any additional financial burdens on the state treasury, emphasizing that no increase in the approved financial ceilings for government entities should be requested due to its application.

The adoption of this decision came based on a request from the Minister of Finance, which included limiting the purchase of ambulances and their equipment through 'NUPCO', as the entity responsible for unified procurement of medicines, medical devices and medical supplies.
