From journalism to media management, from the field to official platforms, Abdulkhaliq bin Abdullah Al-Zahrani's experience has spanned multiple professional stations, making him a notable presence in the media and cultural scene of Makkah region, with expertise accumulated over more than 27 years.

Al-Zahrani currently serves as the Director General of the Ministry of Media branch in Makkah region, following a career that began in print journalism as a reporter and writer for several newspapers and magazines.

His experience extended to audio and visual media, as he presented radio and social programs on Jeddah Radio and participated in several television programs, combining journalistic, radio, and television work, giving him extensive field experience in various communication and media tools.

On the administrative side, he managed several media files related to major national events, most notably managing the operations room of the General Media Committee for Hajj in 1438 AH. He was also assigned the role of spokesman for the Ministry of Media during the daily press conference for Hajj in Mina, and contributed to organizing and managing media work in several events, including the Jeddah International Book Fair, in addition to participating in workshops of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites.

His contributions were not limited to media work but extended to participation in several councils and committees of a cultural and social nature, including the Makkah Region Council, the Cultural Development Committee, the Anti-Smoking Committee, and the Neighborhood Centers Association, as part of his interest in supporting initiatives that enhance cultural development and community work.
