HH the Amir Receives Credentials of UAE and Nigeria Ambassadors

Doha, July 02 (QNA) - His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received this morning at his office at the Amiri Diwan the credentials of two new ambassadors to the state.

HH the Amir received the credentials of HE Saeed Abdullah Al-Qumzi, Ambassador of the sisterly United Arab Emirates to the state, and HE Dr. Mahmoud Yaqub, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the state.

HH the Amir welcomed the two new ambassadors, wishing them success in their duties and further progress and prosperity in the bilateral relations between Qatar and their respective countries.

For their part, the two ambassadors conveyed to HH the Amir the greetings of the leaders of their countries and their wishes for the Qatari people of continued development and prosperity.

An official reception ceremony was held for the ambassadors upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
